Case Construction Equipment has announced the European launch of its new G Series Evolution wheel loader.

While other machines might win awards for design simplicity, Case's G-Series loader is both larger in scale and more complex in operation. Leading an array of sophisticated functions, an all-new payload system is integrated directly into the loader’s primary display and provides bucket-weight, pass counts, accumulated/running weight and job tracking data.

Operators are able to monitor the weight of each bucket, while tracking the total weight of material loaded into each truck. The improved payload system also tracks the total volume of material moved over a specific time, load history by customer, ticket or material, as well as providing a comprehensive ticket history.

Also new for the European model is  the 'Touchscreen Command Centre' - a tablet-like touchscreen device for accessing critical machine settings and operational data, allowing operators to anticipate and react more quickly to real-time changes in conditions. This includes all-new electro-hydraulic controls that enable the operator to set boom and bucket responsiveness. Each function can be independently set with a choice of three responsiveness modes: smooth, moderate and aggressive.

Other highlight benefits include three colour-coded buttons, which operators can configure to control  functions such as rear-view camera, differential lock or declutch, and strobe activation; extended service intervals from 500-100 hours; tyre pressure and power management systems, and remote telematics via Case's 'SiteConnect' platform, whereby Case dealers can run remote diagnostics and best advise operators on any issues identified without visiting the site.

It's clever stuff indeed, as seen below.
