Executive Hire Show stalwarts, Shindaiwa UK, have recently seen a substantial increase in demand for their PB-600 Parallel box.

This diminutive unit enables two equally-sized Shindaiwa welder generators to be linked in parallel operation to double the maximum output from the two machines. The box also includes a remote control feature to enable simultaneous control of both machines at the jobsite.

Explaining the reason for such a device, Shindaiwa UK Sales Director Tom Page said: “The implementation of Stage 5 emission regulations has caused a shortage of larger 500A machines in the UK mobile welding market. Higher output machines are typically only required for arc air gauging applications.

"The PB-600 Parallel box enables rental companies to further utilise their fleets of 300A Shindaiwa machines for gauging applications, whilst maintaining the versatility of hiring two machines out for more common applications requiring less output power.”
