EHS regulars, Trime UK, is celebrating being selected as finalists in two categories at the forthcoming Hire Association Europe 2026 'Hire Awards of Excellence'.
Trime UK has been selected as a finalist for the Hire Supplier of the Year. In addition, their long-standing employee, Norman Pipe, has also been added to the finalists in the newly created Operations Manager of the Year category.
Trime UK has been supplying the UK and Ireland hire markets for the past ten years. The hire sector makes up around 85% of its turnover and will continue to play will contunue to play a significant role in the company's growth.
Meanwhile, Norman Pipe (centre) joined Trime UK in 2016. A ‘hands-on’ operator, he liaises with customers and suppliers, as well as managing Trime’s supply chain. He acts as a mentor to newly recruited staff, helping to reinforce Trime UK’s unique company culture.
Commenting on these honours, Paul Hay, Managing Director of Trime UK, said, “We are naturally delighted for Norman. Being a finalist is a tribute to Norman’s hard work and dedication in supporting our hire clients. We are also very pleased to be nominated for Supplier of the Year. The Hire Awards of Excellence 2026 will be held on Saturday, 18th April 2026, at Grosvenor House, and it will be hosted by comedian and well-known after-dinner speaker, Adger Brown.
