Customers of Travis Perkins can now hire the plant, tools, skips and equipment quickly and more flexibly, after a new ‘pay-as-you-go’ service has been introduced.
There are over 300 TP Hire branches across the UK, all of which can be found in Travis Perkins branches. The expansion will see customers able to access the entire hire offering by simply providing two forms of identification – a photo ID, such as a driving licence or a passport, and a utility bill or a recent bank statement with a valid UK address.
“We have been working on this exciting development for some time and it’s fantastic. We are now ready to roll it out to customers nationwide," said TP Hire MD Ian Sharman-Jones. “For those customers who currently don’t have a Travis Perkins account, this is game-changing and means that all customers will now have full and complete access to our entire hire product range.
The new service has been rolled out across all Travis Perkins Hire branches, with customers able to hire from one branch and even return items to another.
Kerry Brayshaw, Head of Fleet & Business Improvement at TP Hire added: “Colleagues at our branches around the UK have undertaken extensive training to ensure the smooth rollout of Pay as you go Hire, and this is a huge step forward for the service we provide our customers.
"We have partnered with Barclays to ensure all payments are taken safely and securely. It ensures all customer details are secure and are purged three months after the product is returned and taken off hire.”
