With lockdown restrictions easing and the UK plant & tool hire sector already returning to full speed, we are pleased to announce that the Executive Hire Roadshows are making a comeback…
It’s fair to say that equipment manufacturers and would-be purchasers haven’t really enjoyed many opportunities to interact over the last 18 months. The entire purpose of Executive Hire Roadshows has always been to provide a lively forum for business relationships to prosper, for industry colleagues to meet and greet and for lucrative deals to get done. Now there is finally a chink of light at the end of the tunnel, we’re planning to run two of them later this very year.
Our first roadshow for 2021 takes place on October 19 at the Marriott Hotel, 500 Argyle Street, Glasgow, G3 8RR. The exact format for the event is still TBC, but we have listened to visitor feedback from previous events and it is our intention to dispense with some of the formalities in the name of kickstarting the commerce. A full agenda and a schedule of exhibitors will be unveiled in due course.
The West & Wales Roadshow follows soon afterwards, hitting Bristol’s Holiday Inn, Filton, BS16 1QX on December 1. As before, we’ll be welcoming regional hirers of all sizes and major manufacturers will showcase their wares, with tempting deals to be announced on the day.
In both instances, the safety of roadshow visitors and exhibitors is our number one priority. Updated guidelines are to be announced over the coming days, but we will ensure that both roadshows are run in line with the latest local, national government and public health advice.
Notwithstanding further delays beyond our control, please diarise October 19 for the Scotland Roadshow and December 1 for the West & Wales event. Otherwise, there is a palpable and unilateral desire to make the roadshows bigger and better, so we greatly look forward to seeing you all there!
