Metal & Modular's range of robust metal cabinets, and other site equipment, have been augmented by the 'SureLock Pro' system, which dramatically reduces the welding used by 85%, enables flat-pack delivery and helps to reduce carbon emissions by over 70%. The company now now introduced two new units that employ the SureLock feature.
First up, the 'SLP Eco FlameSafe' - the orange one above. Weighing 118kg and with external dimensions of w1200mm x d265mm x h1260, the cabinet conforms to COSHH regulations, is well vented to prevent the build up of fumes an features internal bunding. Its all-steel construction is able to withstand flames for up to 1.5hrs.
The SLP Eco ChemSafe below - in a highly visible shade of yellow - shares the same dimensions, although the bunding is designed to resist corrosion and chemical spillages.
Both units feature gas strut-assisted lids with 6mm steel brackets, recessed handles, forklift skids and optional castors, anti-drill plates around the locks and, of course, any of the panels can be replaced with ease thanks to the clever SureLock system.
