Powered by a low emission Kubota engine, the new eight tonne KX085-5 boasts a robust hydraulic system, which gives operators the reliability and operability needed to complete a wide range of jobs quickly and efficiently.
The new excavator can be equipped with a two-piece boom for expanded working, impressive dumping and efficiency in narrow spaces. The hydraulic mechanism enables operators to run the arm, boom, bucket, and swivel simultaneously, boosting
efficiency and increasing productivity.
The KX085-5 also offers innovative features, including two auxiliary circuits with adjustable maximum oil flow, a load sensing hydraulic system for smoother operation, float function for easy ground finishing, and an auto-shift system that offers intuitive control when dozing and turning.
The KX085-5 features a newly cab, offering a wider entrance, generous legroom and a deluxe double adjustable air suspension seat. In addition, a new full-colour 7” LCD digital screen ensures users can view operational information at a glance. Other features include LED working lights and a built-in rear view camera.
The KX085-5 features a triple opening bonnet and optimum arrangement of internal parts. It is designed with a shorter rear overhang, ensuring workability in restricted space. The rear overhang also features cast-iron protectors, which reduce damage to the machine in space restricted work sites. Other security features include Kubota’s Anti-Theft System, which ensures only programmed keys can start the engine,
Kubota has also launched two new electric compact wheel loaders. The RT210-2e and RT220-2e have been deisgned to provide high productivity, optimised user comforts and zero emission performance.
Both machines feature a high torque electric motor that can be recharged in as little as 90 minutes when using the optional supercharger. Theyt are powered by 260Ah lithium-ion batteries as standard, which regenerate when a machine decelerates or travels downhill.
The RT210-2e’s long loader arm has a reach of up to 2852mm, while the RT220-2e shorter loader arm has an increased lift capacity of up to 1140kg. Both machines are highly manoeuvrable, with all-wheel steering on each axle. The hydraulic quick hitch is compatible with a host of attachment options.
The machines have been mnufactured with user-comforts in mind, with an ergonomic design that minimises noise pollution and vibrations for fatigue-free operation. Operator safety is priorotised via a unique overheating function and through both ROPS and FOPS protections.
Both the RT210-2e and RT220-2e have electric/hydraulic integration that delivers complete multi-functionality for operators, particularly for lifting and the top cylinder. The machines also have optional boom suspension to provide even better retention of load inside the shovel – even at higher speeds.
