As well as having a dazzling new headquarters with a 'living' grass roof, Groundhog UK has bolstered its senior team with two key appointments.
New Operations Director, Llyr Hopkin (left), has been with Groundhog since 1998 - with a brief sabbatical in Australia - and he brings a deep understanding of the business and the welfare industry. His extensive knowledge of manufacturing, factory processes and emerging technologies continues to be key to Groundhog’s innovation and future growth.
“I’m thrilled with this Director appointment and will focus on continuous product and factory development, ensuring Groundhog continues to progress with innovative and leading-edge welfare facilities,” he said.
Taking up the role of Finance Director, Ben Quirk joined Groundhog three years ago as finance manager. He has since made a significant impact, introducing new ways of working and helping to drive sustainable growth. His financial leadership, strategic insight and commitment to excellence have played a vital role in strengthening the company’s operations and supporting its long-term goals.
“I’m delighted and honoured to be announced as finance director at Groundhog and look forward to contributing to its continued success. I joined Groundhog as a Finance Manager three years ago and the growth and re-investment I’ve witnessed has been phenomenal. We have a fantastic team here and it’s a privilege to be a part of," he added.
The final word goes to Groundhog CEO Paul Ratcliffe, who commented: “It’s a real pleasure to formally recognise the hard work, loyalty and professionalism of both Ben and Llyr with these well-deserved appointments.
“Ben’s leadership and financial expertise have been essential to our strategic decision-making and continued growth. Llyr’s technical know-how and dedication to innovation have been instrumental, particularly in the success of our award-winning, environmentally sustainable iRange.
"I’m incredibly proud of what they’ve both achieved and am certain of the continued impact they’ll make in their new roles.”
