Of the many attractions at the forthcoming ScotPlant expo, visitors will be able to get a first look at four models from Doosan’s next-generation mini-excavator range.

On display among larger equipment on the James Gordon Ltd. stand will be the new DX27Z-7 2.8 tonne machine, the DX35Z-7 3.9 tonne (pictured), the DX50Z-7 5.4 tonne and DX55R-7 5.7 tonne. The latter two as recently reported.

All four models are powered by Stage V engines offering high power and torque, and covering a wide range of applications - including heavy duty work. A novel platform design featuring new upper structures has increased durability/robustness and all the models offer a larger working range than other machines on the market, coupled with higher lifting capacities and digging forces.

For those in the market for machinery with a little more heft, James Gordon will also be showcasing the new-look DX100W-7 10.7 tonne wheeled excavator, as well as a UK premiere for the DX140LC-7 14.6 tonne crawler excavator. Both slightly outside our usual remit, but who doesn't like looking at big diggers...!

Scotplant itself tales place at the Royal Highland Centre, right next to Edinburgh Airport, on April 22-23. We'll be there for sure, and you can find more details about the event at:
