M O’Brien Plant Hire, of St. Albans and Winsford, Cheshire, appreciates Faresin Electric Telehandlers so much, it has just bought more of them.
Following the success of its original order with GGR Group, late last year, the company has added more models to its hire fleet. All in the name of keeping up with the growing demand for cleaner and greener machines. The recent acquisitions have already proven their worth, in projects at Gatwick Airport and on various HS2 sites across the country.
Steve King, commercial and sales director at GGR Group said: “This is great news for us especially with competition in the market and other products of this type expected in the future. This order signifies the growing success of this product in the field”.
While Michael O’Brien, managing director at M O’Brien added: “As early adopters of new technology, we committed to trying out the Faresin 6.26 Full Electric with an initial order of two machines last year. When you’re involved with new and innovative products, there’s always an element of paying your money and taking your chance.”
“The real test is what the machines can do in practice, but with this product we are glad that we have not waited on the sidelines. The Faresin machines have proven to be very popular so far and it makes sense to make a further commitment to both the technology and the brand.”
The new Faresin machine is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack. A fast-charging system allows the batteries to be rapidly topped up at convenient intervals throughout the day, and a 110-volt on-board charger is included when larger power supplies are not available. The standard 300Ah battery lasts up to six hours of typical use with a recharge time of 1.5 hours using the external fast charger.
