Lyte Ladders & Towers has announced the launch of the GFLCL – Glassfibre Professional Combination Ladder, which has been developed specifically for tradespeople working in electrical environments.

This newly developed ladder has been independently tested by BSI, having achieved EN131 Professional certification, and making it ideal for electricians, facilities management teams, utilities providers, and contractors who require high safety standards on site.

Among a raft of technical features: non-conductive glassfibre, ensuring maximum safety when working near electrical sources; slip-resistant rungs and feet; a heavy-duty wide stabiliser for enhanced stability; a 4-in-1 design - A-frame, extension ladder, stepladder with extended reach, and stairway ladder; and, of course, the new unit is made at Lyte’s solar-powered factory in Swansea, using recycled low carbon 4.0 rungs to ensure the lowest carbon footprint possible.

“We know electricians and tradespeople need ladders they can rely on when working in potentially hazardous environments with live electrical currents. Our new Glassfibre Professional Combination Ladders combines strength, flexibility, and verified non-conductivity, all backed by UK manufacturing. It’s exactly what our customers have asked for,” said Lyte MD Stuart Price.
