LIFOS will launch a new solar PV battery storage system at EHS 2023, with the aim being to help the hire and construction companies transition to a diesel-free and low-carbon future.
LIFOS 'Fort' is a new hybrid and renewable energy system set to significantly reduce the cost and emissions of using a diesel generator on site. It also means that when working in residential or urban areas, noise is massively reduced due to less diesel generator time. The new product launches at the Executive Hire Show 2023, demonstrating a new era in sustainable long-life solar PV battery storage.
The Fort range comprises three models, launching at the show - 12kWh, 23kWh and 35kWh. Further options being will be released during the year ahead. The Fort system comes packed with 18 solar panels delivering 3.4kw of power, which can be quickly deployed either by using the fitted solar panel kick stand or the optional container roof mounting kit. The kit makes it ideal for use on site and it can be fixed onto the roof of a welfare unit. The unique design allows for easy transportation and use on all sites,
Fort also comes with an impressive 5-year warranty and all Fort customers have the option to join the LIFOS 7-Year-Switch programme. This allows customers to upgrade critical components at the end of year seven, so the battery operates like new and life expectancy of the asset is extended to 15 years and beyond.
