There's always lots to see on the Hire Supply Company stand at the Executive Hire Show, this year including brand new products.

The 'Elite Voltstation 2560' is not scheduled for launch just yet. Rather, HSC is intending to gauge interest from the hirers, with a view to complementing the Elite range of electrical distribution products in the near future.

The Voltstation comprises a LiFeP04 lithium-ion phosphate battery - a fully charged unit packs 2560W of power, with a maximum output of 2000W and 2 x 16Amp 110volt output sockets on board. In terms of performance, calculations have been made based on how long assorted 110v wired products can be powered:

  • 8 x DL36 Elite LED Delta lights - 8.5+ Hours
  • 100 Meters Elite LED Festoon lighting - 9.5+ Hours
  • 1 x Elite 2” submersible water pump - 5+ Hours = 75,000 Litres
  • 2 x BCE45LV2 70 litre evaporative coolers - 8+ Hours
  • 1 x BV77EDV Master diesel heater - 8.5+ Hours

The Voltstation and the various configurations available means that it would not only be used in the general construction industry, but also in other markets such as facility management, event hire, Network Rail, flood restoration and climate control.

For our money, the Voltstation looks like it's built to withstand heavy use in such applications too. See it for yourself, along with the myriad other products displayed on the HSC stand - E42, at the front of the main arena.
