The company has been providing this service in the UK and Ireland since acquiring the Energyst brand in 2021 and will now be brought under the Finning name together with new and used power generation sales. This creates a strengthened, holistic service for customers whether they are looking to buy or rent equipment.

The move means that the rental business can draw on Finning strengths – including in-depth expertise supplying specialist power generation, proven ability for responsive delivery through its UK and Ireland network, and access to the latest Cat equipment.

Finning Power Rental will operate from three locations in Aberdeen, Cannock and Dublin. It will offer a full range of Cat power generation equipment, including generators, transformers, load banks, switch gear, distribution equipment and more.
