Northern Ireland-based Balloo Hire Centres has added further Sinoboom platforms, which were bought from UK/Ireland authorised distributor LOLEX.

Balloo's investment is for all-electric units and includes a repeat order for the 5389RE rough terrain scissor. Other machinery included in the deal includes the AB18EJ, AB16EJ and AB14EJ articulated booms, as well as the straight telescopic TB26EJP. All units are fitted with non marking foam-filled tyres and either Discover AGM non maintenance batteries or Hoppecke low maintenance battery packs..

Speaking of the recent aquisitions, Powered Access Manager Colin Magee said: “Balloo Hire was the first rental company in the UK & Ireland to invest in Sinoboom equipment.  From day one we have received great service and support from all the team at LOLEX.  We like the quality of the equipment; we like the business relationship; and so it’s been an easy decision to buy more Sinobooms for our powered access fleet.”

“We’re delighted to receive this fantastic order from Balloo Hire,” added LOLEX MD Julie Houston Smyth. “We work extremely hard every day to make sure that we provide excellent service and technical support to our customers - and repeat orders such as this prove we’re doing something right.”

Established in 1987 and part of the Briggs Equipment Group, Balloo Hire offers a wide range of aerial work platforms along with telehandlers, forklifts, lifting and handling gear, general construction equipment and tools from locations in Belfast, Bangor, Lisburn, Ballyclare, Glenavy, Omagh, Dungannon and Dublin.
