Alliance Tool Hire has doubled its fleet of non-powered access equipment, in a £470k investment for over 100 towers from BoSS.
AS profiled in our June 2025 edition, the Alliance order included both the 3T Ladderspan Aluminium Single and Double models, which can be erected to a maximum platform height of 10.2m, plus folding towers. The new products join a comprehensive access portfolio, including standard, stair and one man towers, as well as podiums and delta decks.
The outlay was made in response to added demand from new and existing customers in the commercial fit out, construction, demolition and drylining sectors across the company’s nine depots, which cover London, Kent, Bath, Bristol, Gatwick, Salisbury and Poole.
Harvard-educated CEO, Beth Peters said: “Access equipment has always been in very strong demand across our extensive rental catalogue, so the latest substantial investment in BoSS tower systems doubles down on both our expertise and product availability in this sector.
“The new towers will be available across all our sites to support customers as well as our own growth plans for every depot and region.”
Alliance Tool Hire is apparently one of the top five independent construction rental suppliers in the South of England by both revenue and branch coverage. The business offers a complete range of power tools, access and survey equipment as well as lifting hire, sales and customer equipment management services.
