Swindon-based Tiger Plant was established in 2016 by Andy Rohrer and Stuart Morgan, originally to service their property development business. It trades from a 42,000sqft yard close to junction 15 of the M4.
"The acquisition of this strong regional player provides us with both an excellent local plant hire operation and a significant logistical location from which to extend our reach and service offer through the M4 corridor including Reading, Oxford, Newbury and Bristol,” said John Corcoran, the owner of Advanced Access Platforms.
“This acquisition, our third transaction in as many months, characterises the importance and value of location as a powerful component of strategic fit and a key driver for future growth,” added Hire Exchange co-founder, Chris Harvey.
Tiger Plant will continue to be run as a standalone business under a new management team headed by Shane Sherbourne, previously of One-call, Ardent, Synergy UK and more recently McGovern Plant Hire.
The Hire Exchange offers its thanks and congratulations to all parties involved, and wishes them all the success they deserve.
