Hire procurement specialist, YardLink, has been selected as the procurement partner for Oktoberfest UK 2026 - managing equipment supply across nine cities throughout October.
Live Tour Promotions, the events company behind Oktoberfest UK, appointed YardLink to manage the full procurement operation for this year's tour, which includes Colchester, Chichester, Milton Keynes, Guildford, Southend, Beverley, Chelmsford, Plymouth and Portsmouth.
YardLink is managing all infrastructure kits for each event, from telehandlers and cherry pickers to tower lights and fencing. Each location requires a full delivery, build and collection operation within a one-week window, with timed deliveries coordinated to the hour across multiple equipment categories.
YardLink must build and dismantle a fully operational event site nine times across a single month, each with its own site configuration, timeline and local supplier network. At each venue, the platform automatically matches orders to the best-performing local suppliers.
"Working with YardLink has made everyone’s lives easier," said Reiss Stanford, production manager at Live Tour Promotions. "Every location has its own timeline, its own site configuration and its own challenges. Having a single platform that coordinates all of our equipment needs across every city and matches us with local suppliers automatically has transformed how we approach the procurement side of the tour."
"We are proud to be supporting the UK's biggest Oktoberfest tour," added YardLink CEO Neeral Shah." Events of this scale and complexity are exactly what our platform was built for, and working with Live Tour Promotions across both Oktoberfest and Sausage and Cider Fest demonstrates what consistent, reliable procurement looks like in practice."
