Welfare Unit Hire Ltd has joined forces with boutique investor and growth specialist Acquisan Ltd, in a yet another deal brokered by The Hire Exchange.
Acquisan founder Julian Pienaar commented: “I have worked internationally for many years in corporate finance and strategy in the equipment hire sector, and specifically in the welfare and sanitation arena. I am really excited to be applying this experience here in the UK with Welfare Unit Hire.”
And WUH founder Mick Elston added: “My wife Liz and I have spent 20 years growing the business and have built a wonderful client base and internal team. However, to realise its true potential more investment, energy and expertise is required and Julian fits the bill perfectly. Now, under Julian's leadership, we can move forward with real confidence.”
Mick will continue with the business in a 'hands-on' but advisory capacity for an extended period. While day-to-day operations will remain in the hands of General Manager Jim Kennerley and his team, who will be responsible for ensuring quality, continuity and stability at the operational level.
