WHC Hire Services has invested a cool £1 million, adding 35 new Kubota KX27-4 mini excavators.
The new machines will be delivered to WHC's depots over the coming weeks, further expanding the company’s sizeable fleet. This is the third large investment WHC Hire has made in 2025, with the recent arrival of new 3500kg Ifor Williams trailers and Thwaites dumpers.
WHC MD James Clutterbuck said: “The Kubota KX27-4 has become a pillar of excellence for us at WHC. After its original introduction, clients were immediately benefiting from the size, power, reliability and value for money they received from a 3-tonne machine.
"The excavator’s design has also made it much easier for our in-house team to access key components when conducting PDI inspections. Ultimately, boosting our efficiency when it comes to turning equipment around. To meet growing demand, I’m delighted to further invest an additional £1 million to support our three-tonne mini digger range.”
