Sunbelt is investing £65 million in 2,100 new JCB machines, making it JCB's biggest ever order from a UK customer.

Sunbelt is making the purchase with the aim of expanding and renewing its fleet, as the construction industry continues to rebound. The new order will include Loadall telescopic handlers, mini and midi excavators, site dumpers, tracked excavators, rough terrain fork lifts and a grand total of 350 JCB access platforms.

Elsewhere, it's onwards and upwards for the Staffordshire company, the Sunbelt order arriving as JCB awards permanent contracts for hundreds of agency workers. The machines themselves are supplied by Greenshields JCB and are already in production.
