The Executive Hire show isn't just a great showcase for the best plant & tool equipment, many exhibiting manufacturers will launch new products at the event. Prominent supporters, Snorkel, will be doing just that, with the official UK and European debut of the S3013 Mini scissor lift.
Initially unveiled at ConExpo in 2023, production now begins at Snorkel's Vigo facility in the northeast of England. The product itself will be available throughout Europe from April 24.
The all-electric S3013 Mini features a working height of 5.8m and is Ideal for indoor or outdoor use. Drivable at full height with no height limiter and with a capacity of 272Kg, it is at home in the M&E environment or in heavy-duty applications where weight and physical size is an issue.
The new machine has compact dimensions, at 0.76m wide, 1.44m long and only 815kg in weight - the 1.86m closed height allows easy passage through standard doorways, while non-marking tyres and a slide out deck extension are additional benefits. Likewise, the unique fixed control box and wander lead feature, which help to improve operator safety and productivity.
The S3013 is powered by a single lithium battery or two 12v maintenance-free AGM batteries, dependent on customer specification. Its steering is electronically actuated and the machine contains no hydraulic hoses.
“Our team has put a lot of work into ensuring this model exceeds our customer requirements and has some unique features suited to the environment it’ll be used in. Initial customer feedback has been excellent and we’re looking forward to production starting in April with more new models to be announced throughout the year,” said David Graham, general manager at the Vigo facility.
