Hyundai has completed its A-Series range of compact excavators, with the launch of the HX10A Z - the smallest model in its line-up,
The HX10A Z weighs 1,165kg, with a zero tail swing design and a retractable undercarriage - fully retracted, the machine can pass through a 730mm doorway, while it reaches 1,110mm when fuly extended.
Power comes from a 7.6kW diesel engine delivering 39.4Nm of torque. With twin 10.4 litre/min hydraulic pumps, the machine offers up to 10.8kN of bucket breakout force and 6.3kN of dipper arm force. Advanced rubber engine mounts reduce vibration and boost durability.
The new machine has a 1,450mm monoboom and an 890mm dipper arm. This provides a maximum digging depth of 2,205mm and a forward reach of up to 3,400mm. The increased dump height and longer reach makes it easy to load 1-tonne site dumpers and skips, while two-way auxiliary piping is standard, suitable for a variety of powered attachments.
The HX10A Z has a top mounted boom cylinder, for additional protection from damage and hydraulic hoses are internally routed for protection from impact. Front guards and LED working lights protect dig-end components and provide improved visibility in all working conditions.
The HX10A Z is equipped with a folding ROPS canopy, for improved access and easier transportation. An ergonomic operator station has adjustable consoles and secure seating, providing a comfortable working environment.
