Shindaiwa has introduced two new Tier 5 compliant models to its popular machine range.

Firstly, the Eco165-2 petrol welder generator is now equipped with a Tier 5 compliant Yamaha MZ300 engine. New features include a new CC/Droop mode selector switch, which enhances the unit's arc characteristics. The new machine also boasts digital current setting and output gauges, a 15 litre fuel tank and a lightweight, impact-resistant polycarbonate canopy.

Also new, the PowerCenter 15 generator is now fitted with a Kubota D902 Tier 5 compliant engine. The PowerCenter 15 has found favour among hirers looking for a compact generator offering 415v 3 phase and 230 /110v single phase.

“We see PowerCenter 15’s hired out anywhere from powering welding equipment on petrochemical refinery to running power tools and welfare cabins on a construction site, it’s such a versatile piece of kit. We’re delighted to be able to now offer the quiet and highly compact machine with a Tier 5 compliant engine ensuring it can continue to be utilised on any site in the UK.” said Sales Director, Tom Page.

All  machines are supplied with a three-year warranty and are supported by trained staff in Wolverhampton and Perth. Meanwhile, Shindaiwa has invested in detailed 3D models of some of its equipment, which can be zoomed and rotated ad infinitum - even viewed in augmented reality on some devices.
