SANY UK has just rolled out the SY10U, its first 1-tonne micro excavator built for big performance in the smallest of spaces.
Designed with tight urban job sites and tricky access points in mind, this new addition to SANY’s compact excavator range is perfect for contractors, landscapers and utility crews who require maximum power in a minor package.
In spite of its size, the SY10U means business, weighing in at around 1,195 kg, digging to 1,868mm, and reaching over 3.5 metres. Under the hood, a Kubota engine pumps out 8.8 kW at 2,200 rpm, while a smooth, load-sensing hydraulic system gives operators pinpoint control. Thanks to its zero tail swing, operators can work safely right up against walls or in narrow alleys, and the retractable undercarriage, which shrinks from 1,100 mm to 745 mm, means it can slip through doorways and tight gateways with ease.
The SY10U features all-steel bodywork and a reinforced boom and arm, giving it the durability to handle tough jobs day after day. Routine maintenance is quick and simple too, with easy ground-level access to all key service points.
