It has been confirmed that the 6th biennial Plantworx exhibition will be held on 23rd - 25th September 2025, taking place at a brand new venue - the Newark Showground.

The move represents a new chapter for the large scale event, which is owned and delivered by the Construction Equipment Association (CEA), and is filled with opportunities for innovation and collaboration among professionals in the construction sector.

The need for relocation was prompted by the repurposing of the East of England showground in Peterborough for housing developments, making the move to Newark necessary for Plantworx's continued success and growth.

"As we gear up for Plantworx 2025, our focus has been on building upon the success of the previous events. The thorough selection process led us to Newark, which excels in infrastructure flexibility, accessibility, and the reliability of its outdoor spaces, which are crucial for hosting an event of Plantworx’s scale,” explained Plantworx Event Director, Simon Frere-Cook. “This new venue promises not only a continuation of the event's legacy but also an expansion of its impact and reach within the construction industry.”

Key features of next year’s Plantworx event include 126 acres of indoor and outdoor exhibition space, live equipment demonstrations, complimentary car parking, and easy road access and transport links – the Newark showground itself is just 35 minutes away from East Midlands and Doncaster Robin Hood airports.

Plantworx 2025 is gearing up for over 400 exhibitors, each showcasing the latest in construction machinery, technology and services. If it’s anything like last year, the sun will hopefully have his hat on. The CEA makes no such guarantee, however.
