Gaz Evans Models - aka 'GEMs' - will be showcasing some of its excellent wares at the forthcoming Plantworx expo.
GEMs, if you didn't already know, specialises in creating top-notch scale models and accessories for the construction, demolition and recycling sectors.
With permission from original equipment manufacturers, GEMs produces all of its scale models and attachments in-house. The process entails using original drawings and hand-building the master model using plastic card or 3D printing. These parts are then cast white metal, cleaned, assembled, painted and detailed by GEMs.
Gaz has been making models as a hobby throughout his life. After leaving his job at a demolition company, he turned his passion into a full-time business.
“In a world where precision and detail matter, Gaz EvansModels prides itself on crafting 1:50 scale model attachments for the construction and demolition industries, showcasing renowned brands like Rotar, Gjerstad, Engcon and more," explained the man himself, adding: “We don’t just stop there; we bring dreams to life by customising heavy plant models to represent companies like Collins Earthworks, Ruttle Plant, and Plantforce, ensuring every piece is a true representation of its real-life counterpart.”
GEMs also offers customised models and dioramas - perfect for company foyers, events, and client gifts. They can modify base models with company signwriting and colours, adjust booms and add attachments. Models can even be placed on plinths for special presentations.
If any EHN readrs are interested in a custom build, GEMs suggests getting in touch for a quote. Otherwise, the standard models are certainly better than average. See GEMs on stand A-E1 at Plantworx from June 13-15.
