Plant Hire UK has invested a cool £17 million on new JCB machines, as the company prepares to mark its twentieth birthday.
The aptly named Plant Hire UK was founded in 2005 and has since spent over £200 million with JCB. The latest order comprises over 300 machines, includong a range of Loadalls, tracked excavators and site dumpers.
“Some years ago I decided to make Plant Hire UK 100% loyal to JCB, with machines supplied and supported by Gunn JCB," explained MD Graham Jones (right, with JCB COO Mark Turner). "Since then, I have only ever purchased JCB equipment, underlining Plant Hire UK’s commitment to support its customers with the best machines and the best back-up in the industry. Customers, both old and new, will continue to receive market leading support as the group invests in its ambitious plans for the future".
