Pickerings has opened its third new depot in recent months, with a 10-acre depot in Wootton Bassett, near Swindon.

The new building represents a £multi-million investment, with facilities consisting of a newly constructed office, a workshop and an large storage yard. The depot is on a greenfield site close to the M4 Motorway, enabling speedy access for customers throughout the South-West and Wales. It will replace the existing Pickerings depot in nearby Swindon.

Pickerings Managing Director, Neil Moss, said: “Our new site in Wootton Bassett is another in our ongoing depot development programme and is, probably, one of the largest depots in our industry. We continue to see increased demand for our modular buildings and portable accommodation in the South-West and throughout the country. This has been strengthened with the launch of our Pickerings+ range of products and services that provide our customers with a well-equipped, fully functioning building solution.”

Pickerings has 12 depots nationwide, providing modular buildings, portable cabins and associated products and services for customers to hire, buy or lease purchase.
