A boost for Snorkel, as it adds industry veteran Scott McCall to its sales team. 

Scott McCall joined Snorkel on April 6 as its new business development manager, reporting to UK MD Andrew Fishburn. As well as the responsibilities of his new role, Scott also becomes Snorkel's first 'Net Zero Specialist', and is tasked with introducing customers to new lithium-ion powered equipment, and helping them to market zero emission solutions to their customers.

Scott McCall is well known in the equipment sector, having started his career in sales and marketing at Nationwide Platforms in 1997. He then spent time as a UK National Sales Manager for Gardener Denver from 2006 to 2008, before moving to Altec where he led their sales expansion into Russia, CIS and Baltic States until 2011. Scott has been operating his own businesses for the last ten years, including consulting for brands including IronPlanet, Oil&Steel, Socage, and France Elevateur.

Speaking of the recent appointment, Andrew Fishburn said: “We are delighted to have Scott join our team. He is very well-known and well-respected in the wider equipment sector having had many years of experience in the heavy lifting, crane, MEWP and off-road vehicle markets, here in the UK, and also across EMEA, Russia and the CIS countries.

“I am confident that Scott can both develop his regional territory in the North West of England, while also bringing his valuable real-world sales and marketing expertise to our key account customers who are in the early stages of adopting zero emission and low emission equipment.”
