Bobcat launches its new L23 and L28 small articulated loaders, boasting compact dimensions, high lift capacities, simple controls and low ground disturbance for working on any terrain.

Designed and built at the company’s North American facilities, the new machines offer tipping loads of up to 1.39 tonnes. High lift capacities compared to machine weight make them ideal for heavy lift and carry operations in confined areas. The extendable boom on the L28 provides more options for easy placement of loads, and counterweight options allow users to customise capacities to the task at hand. A svelte form factor, with both machines just over a metre wide and turning on a literal sixpence, makes for easy working in tight spaces.

Both new machines are available in canopy and cab versions, each designed to provide extra space for easy access and operator comforts - an enclosed cab with heated seats is an option for colder climates. Meanwhile, intuitive controls are the order of the day, one pedal moving the machine forward and the other reversing it. It's a simple system, making the L23 and L28 ideal for rental customers.

In terms of fexibility, Bobcat has developed a special version of its proprietary 'Bob-Tach' mounting system, allowing the use of S70/MT55 and S100/S450 approved attachments. Other highlights include an 18kW Stage V engine, a telescopic boom for the L28, a 'turf-safe' mode to reduce wheel scrubbing, and a high traction option for improved grip over rough or slippery surfaces. Lots more besides, as you'll see in the video below.
