When Arsenal lifted their first Premier League trophy in 22 years, Sunbelt Rentals provided the essential safety infrastructure, utilising the event to debut a new generation of barrier systems.

Tasked with securing two events on May 30–31, Sunbelt worked alongside Arsenal Football Club, Heart Productions and CBRE to manage a 37,000-capacity Champions League Final screening and an open-top bus parade through North London. The weekend served as the first deployment of Sunbelt’s latest crowd-management technology, designed to provide a more secure 'invisible backbone' for large-scale events.

The new barrier system was central to the operation's success, with Sunbelt teams working through the night to install the infrastructure by 4AM on the day of the parade. The new system was placed to secure access points and manage route-control before the four-bus procession departed Emirates Stadium at 2PM.

The deployment highlighted the system's flexibility, allowing for a phased derig to begin immediately after the event ended - even as the crowds were still dispersing.

“Being involved in two events of this scale across one weekend was a brilliant opportunity for our teams," said Director of Barriers & Fencing Mark Fisher."While fans were celebrating in the stadium and across the streets of London, there was a huge amount of planning and operational delivery happening behind the scenes to help keep the events running safely and smoothly. I’m incredibly proud of the teams involved and the way they delivered across the entire weekend.”
