Develon has launched the DD100 dozer, positioned at the top of its class for operating weight and horsepower, and engineered specifically for precision grading across residential, light commercial and road construction applications.
A key strength of the DD100 is its high power-to-weight ratio, which delivers greater power to the ground and improved tractive effort compared to other machines in the under-140 HP category. This translates into enhanced productivity and more efficient material movement on site.
Productivity is further supported by a 6-way variable angle pitch blade, allowing operators to lift, tilt and angle for accurate grading. Customers can choose between blade capacities of 2.22 m³ or 2.58 m³, while features such as two-way mechanical pitch adjustment and blade shake improve control and reduce downtime from material build-up.
Advanced grading technology is central to the DD100’s performance. A 2D grading system simplifies operation, while an optional 3D guidance system using GPS - developed with Trimble, Leica and Topcon - enhances accuracy via an additional in-cab monitor.
Operator experience is a major focus, with visibility achieved through a narrow engine compartment, low-profile cab pillars and all-glass doors. Comfort is improved with an air-suspension seat, cab suspension and climate control, alongside LED lighting and a rearview camera for safety.
Powered by a 3.4-litre Stage V diesel engine, the DD100 includes an ECO mode that can reduce fuel consumption by up to 5%, supported by auto idle and shutdown features.
Durability and versatility are enhanced through a robust undercarriage, optional ripper attachment and easy service access, helping reduce total cost of ownership while maximising uptime.
