Construction, civil and rail specialists, MJ Hughes Ltd, has just taken delivery of the Faresin 6.26E electric telehandler, meeting its ever-growing demand for electric equipment.

The Sheffield-based firm is the latest to acquire the 2.6 tonne machine, which was delivered by GGR Group with the optional facility to charge the 400Ah battery from zero to full in as little as two hours. The 6.26E is 100% battery powered, meaning there are zero carbon emissions at site, and the equipment is ideally suited to work in ultra low emission and clean air zones

GGR Group Telehandler Sales Manager, Mike Walkely said: “I am delighted to have been able to supply MJ Hughes Ltd with this innovative machine. In earlier talks, it became apparent that they were seeing an unprecedented demand for eco alternatives to traditional plant equipment. The zero-carbon emissions were a key factor here and when the demonstration took place, we were able to talk through the many benefits that this green machine has to offer.”

While MJ Hughes' OPerations Manager Liam Bennett added: “It was a pleasure to work with Mike and the team at GGR Group. It was a seamless process and great that they were able to deliver so quickly from stock. We have a high demand for electric plant already, so to be able to provide a solution to our customers quickly was a huge bonus for us.”

GGR Group is currently running demonstrations of the Faresin 6.26E throughout the UK – see www.electrictelehandler.co.uk for details.
