It's always great to see relative youngsters learning the ropes and rising though the ranks in plant & tool hire. To that encouraging end, WHC Hire Services has just promoted two local lads to senior roles at the company's Cotswold depot.

Chipping Norton residents both, Shaun Kemp, on the right, joined in August 2018. He started on the hire desk, soon became the hire desk supervisor and has now been promoted to Depot Manager at the Costwold branch. Liam joined the company in February 2019 and began his career as a plant cleaner. He moved to small tool maintenance and has now been promoted to Hire Desk Control.

Speaking of the recent promotions, WHC MD James Clutterbuck said: "We are very excited about what the future brings having Shaun at the helm. It is a testimonial to him for the hard work, patience and investment he has put into the Chipping Norton Depot.

"Liam has been such a valuable asset to the Chipping Norton depot. He is a great example of what the ethos at WHC Hire is all about. Investing in people and their development is one of the most rewarding things you can do as a business owner. These young people like Shaun and Liam are the future."
