Following the recent announcement that Finning (UK) Ltd has acquired the John F Hunt Power Group. Representatives from both organisations came together at the newly partnered Bristol location, for one of a series of Town Hall meetings.

Finning Director of Electric Power and Engineering Mark Albiston and David Hunt, Managing Director of Sales at John F Hunt, addressed the local team, as part of a programme of six Town Hall sessions being held across John F Hunt branches.

The atmosphere was open and constructive, with both leaders emphasising the strong alignment in values between the two businesses. They highlighted a shared commitment to teams, sales excellence and customer service — a common 'DNA' that underpins the partnership.

Throughout the discussion, particular focus was placed on continuity. The gathered team were assured that customers’ existing contracts, account managers, pricing structures and points of contact will remain unchanged under the new entity, now operating as John F Hunt Power Group Ltd, a Finning Company.

In an exclusive comment, Mark Albiston said: “This deal is about combining the strengths of both businesses. Together, our shared expertise, product knowledge and customer service will support our long-term growth plans and ambitions.”

While our very own Publishing & Event Director, Chris Moore - who attended the Bristol meeting -  added: “Witnessing first-hand these two great companies dovetailing in this way can only be good for the industry. There is a clear, shared vision of continuity and consistency, and an equally clear ambition to satisfy everyone’s power needs.”
