Among the biggest news coming out of the Vertikal Days expo, JLG has formally announced its partnership with Access Platform Sales (APS).
APS has been a Hinowa distributor since 2005, JLG acquiring the manufacturer in 2023. APS will now take over the JLG support operation, also looking after warranty service, repairs and spare parts in the UK.
"APS has demonstrated a deep understanding of the British access market and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction," said JLG Europe Vice President, Rogerio Dos Santos. "Their proven track record with Hinowa made them a natural strategic partner as we refine our operating approach."
Elsewhere on the JLG stand, the company was showcasing the ES1930M micro scissor, which attains a working height of 18' 6" - approx 563.88cm - while being a mere 30" wide yet with a platform capacity of 227kg. The real party trick is its extendable deck, which incorporates a folding step. As such, a further 19.5 inches of working height is added.
The company also brought along the Power Tower CS compact work platform - as first seen (by us) at the APEX expo in Maastricht, but making quite the mark with its tiny, single person basket.
JLG itself will be exhibting at EHS 2027, apparently with new product launches scheduled around the same time. Hopefully, they bring those along with them.
