JLG debuted the 'LiftPod' quick fold lift at the APEX expo in Maastricht recently, heralding a new category of low-level access equipment and reflecting the company’s investment in developing solutions designed around the evolving needs of its customers.

LiftPod is primarily designed for facility management teams working in hotels, retail spaces, offices, hospitals and other public venues. The new platform is also designed and built in the UK, as part of its 'In Europe. For Europe' strategy to provide products and support tailored to European applications and regulations.

Designed to be compact, foldable, portable and stable, LiftPod offers an alternative to traditional access methods, such as ladders and podiums. With models available in 1.2-m and 1.5-m platform heights, LiftPod features a patented, non-powered lifting mechanism and an adjustable platform with a 150kg capacity. With folded dimensions of 0.6-m by 0.77-m, it is easy to store and well-suited for space-constrained jobsites.

“LiftPod demonstrates how we continue to expand our portfolio beyond traditional access equipment to address emerging customer needs,” said Rogerio dos Santos, global strategy, merger & acquisitions and Vice President EMEAI. “As customers increasingly look for practical, purpose-built solutions for indoor environments, we see significant opportunities for products like LiftPod.”
