The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has now reached 2,000 members worldwide.

IPAF’s membership now spans 83 countries, bringing together manufacturers, rental companies, contractors, and training providers. The growth underscores increasing industry recognition of the importance of safety standards, operator training and best practices in powered access.

“Reaching 2,000 members is a proud moment for IPAF. Over recent years, we have expanded our training programmes, digital services, and safety campaigns, supporting members in reducing workplace incidents and improving operational efficiency,". "As part of our commitment to a truly global community, we are also increasing the availability of our materials in more languages, ensuring we can reach and support members wherever they are in the world," said IPAF CEO  Peter Douglas

Looking ahead, IPAF will continue to expand its global reach, enhance member services and drive innovation in safety and training. The organisation is also driving towards full digital adoption of the Powered Access Licence (PAL) Card through the ePAL app, while continuing to work with its members to raise standards and promote and enable the safe and effective use of powered access worldwide.

Central to this effort is maintaining momentum behind its Share Your Story campaign, which recognises storytelling as a powerful tool for improving safety – encouraging members to report incidents and near misses, share experiences as learning opportunities, and reinforce the principle that safety is everyone’s responsibility.
