Visitors to Hillhead today will have the chance to see Hyundai’s newest compact machine, as the manufacturer unveils the HX10AZ micro excavator.
Weighing just 1,165kg, the HX10AZ combines a 7.6kW diesel engine with a twin pump hydraulic system, delivering up to 10.8kN of bucket breakout force and 6.3kN of dipper arm force. Its retractable undercarriage allows the machine to pass through a 730mm doorway, before extending to 1,110mm for enhanced stability on site.
Despite its compact dimensions, the excavator boasts a 1,450mm monoboom and 890mm dipper arm, providing a maximum digging depth of 2,205mm and a forward reach of up to 3,400mm. A zero tail swing design, standard dozer blade, two-way auxiliary piping, LED working lights and a folding ROPS canopy further underline the machine’s versatility.
Designed for demanding work in confined spaces, Hyundai’s latest micro excavator looks set to be one of the compact equipment highlights of this year’s exhibition.
