Dumfries-based Hire and Supplies has invested in a fleet of generators manufactured by Trime.

The order for a line of 6kVA, 10kVA and 20kVA sets was placed with Trime UK by the Hire and Supplies director, David Chandler (right), who said: “We have moved to the Trime generators because we found the reliability of their lighting towers gave us the confidence to invest in their generators, and move away from a previous supplier.

Hire and Supplies has depots in Dumfries, Oban and Carlisle, delivering throughout the West of Scotland, Cumbria and further afield. Aside from the new generators, the company also provides excavators, dumpers, water pumps and lighting towers - as well as an extensive range of tools, consumables and PPE.

Trime’s power generation products are well-equipped for the UK hire market. Fitted as standard, they feature an emergency stop button and a central lifting eye. They have front and side fork pockets, which heighten safe manoeuvrability. The smaller sets include a trolley kit and foldaway handles. To guard against any leakages and spillages, Trime sets boast a fully bunded base.
