Hire United has just made life easier for its members. The fast-growing trade association has rolled out a brand-new QR code system that gives instant access to everything required to know about hired equipment.
The new system is simplicity itself - users just scan the QR code on the machine, or use the handy printout, and they can find quick-start guides, full operating manuals, safety tips and product support. Best of all, it’s free for Hire United members and it was designed in response to what they asked for.
"Our members told us they wanted a straightforward way to ensure customers always have the right guidance to hand. This system delivers exactly that. By making critical safety and user information instantly available, we are helping independent hire companies support their customers in a simple and reliable way," explained Hire United CEO Mike Webb.
Hire United now has around 60 depots nationwide, with members including SHC, Alide Hire Services, Rocket Rentals, Beaver Tool Hire and Plantool. It is also teaming up with manufacturers to keep expanding the new system, so members always get the right guidance whenever they need it.
