Outreach offers an opportunity to give a little back to local initiatives and the communities supporting a hire business. Not all of it is quite as pugilistic as Hutton Hire's latest endeavour, however...

Indeed, the Newquay-based independent business was delighted when local boy Brad Pauls - AKA 'The Newquay Bomb' - won the British middleweight boxing crown at Resort World in Birmingham recently. The young contender, seen here, sporting the Hutton Hire logo on his shorts.

“We have sponsored Brad for the last two years and have seen him rise through the ranks to first become English, then British champion, " explained Managing director Pete Hutton.

"Brad was disappointed not to win it at his first attempt earlier in the year, when he had the defending champion Nathan Heaney in trouble, but couldn’t quite finish him, the result being a draw, on a split decision.

"Brad was delighted to get another chance and made sure of the title with a 12th round knockout this time, after a bruising encounter.”

The local boy certainly done good. Meanwhile, if you're involved in any local or regional outreach activities - it doesn't necessarily need to be quite as athletic or punishing - please don't hestitate to get in touch.
