H.E. Services has placed an order worth more than £1 million for SANY machinery, including a substantial number of electric STH625e telehandlers and two models of electric excavator.

The investment marks another significant development in the longstanding relationship between SANY UK and H.E. Services, one of the country's largest specialist plant hire businesses, while bringing more zero-emission equipment into the UK rental market.

Alongside the STH625E telehandlers, the order also includes the SY19e and SY35e electric excavators, further expanding the hirer's battery-powered fleet.

The compact STH625E offers a maximum lifting capacity of 2,500kg and a maximum lift height of six metres. With an overall width of just 1,850mm, the machine is particularly well suited to confined working environments.

The fully electric telehandler offers up to eight hours of operation, depending on application and working conditions, while an integrated energy recovery system helps to maximise efficiency. Multiple charging options provide additional flexibility on site.

"The introduction of the fully electric STH625E telehandler represents an important step in helping contractors access practical zero-emission solutions without compromising on performance, reliability or productivity," said SANY UK Business Development Director, Leigh Harris.

While a spokesperson for H.E. Services added: "The SANY STH625E stood out as a machine that delivers the lifting capability, operating time and operator comfort required for modern construction sites, while offering the environmental benefits that many projects are now demanding."
