GeoPura has launched a towable hydrogen power unit designed for plant hire fleets, construction sites and other temporary power applications
The HPU Agile-H produces 80kW of clean electricity without diesel, and has been developed in response to demand for smaller hydrogen generators. It can be towed by a suitable SUV or large panel van and moved between sites as needed.
Unlike GeoPura’s larger Energy-as-a-Service units, Agile-H is available to buy, opening up the technology to hire companies looking to add cleaner temporary power to their fleets.
It combines a Ballard hydrogen fuel cell with battery storage and produces no CO2, NOx or particulate emissions at the point of use. Multiple units can also be linked together for larger power requirements.
Applications range from construction compounds, utility works and EV charging, to events, film and TV production and emergency power.
Pre-orders are open now, with deliveries scheduled from Q1 2027.
