GT Lifting Solutions has finalised a £multi-million agreement for the purchase of ten MRT 4080 40-metre rotating telehandlers. Representing the world’s first ten-unit order for this new model in Manitou’s Vision+ range.
The MRT 4080 was previewed at Plantworx 2025. Following the event, GT Lifting visited Manitou’s manufacturing facility in Bologna, Italy, to view the final configuration of the eight-tonne machines and conclude the agreement - which also includes a package of specialised attachments.
“GT Lifting has led the UK construction industry in bringing innovative ROTO telehandlers to market for over 20 years. We are very proud to have been the first to introduce the 26m, followed by the 30m, 35m, 39m, and now the landmark 40m Manitou MRT 4080," said GT Lifting Managing Director, Joseph Rogers.
"This latest addition and significant investment in our fleet is a testament to the strength of our longstanding partnership with Manitou. Their commitment to engineering excellence and continuous innovation has enabled us to consistently deliver advanced lifting solutions that set new standards for performance, safety, and productivity across the UK. We look forward to continuing our successful partnership for many years to come.”
"GT Lifting continues to invest heavily in expanding their extensive Manitou MRT fleet, and this deal is a testament to their forward-thinking approach. We are incredibly proud to support their ongoing growth and see our latest innovation join their premium lineup," added Manitou UK Business Development Key Account Manager, Bryonne Skelton.
