The Industry Lifting Lead AP Group is holding another open day at GGR Group's Buckinghamshire HQ - once again sponsored by the company and Skanska.
This year's open day will take place on September 14, with the theme being 'Innovations, Load Control and People-Load-Interface solutions'.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see bespoke lifting equipment, get insight on the latest lifting machinery and see a range of work being carried out by specialist lifting professionals.
Confirmed speakers include Metropolitan Police, Radius Group, Lloyds British, Torquer Lifting Solutions and Hoistech. Visitors will also be able to meet representatives from Ainscough, CPA, CITB, Emerson Crane Hire and National Open College Network, with more to be added over the coming weeks.
Guests will be given the opportunity to tour the GGR facility and view a variety of product demonstrations, including glass vacuum lifters, glazing robots and UNIC mini spider cranes. Other items on display will feature a range of electric and diesel telehandlers, new overhang beams and other specialist lifting equipment.
The target audience for this event is lifting APs, logistics managers / supervisors, plant managers, procurement leads and senior H&S leaders from across the Tier 1 and Industry contractors’ group.
The GGR depot is a short hop off the M40 and less than a ten-minute walk from Haddenham and Thame Parkway station. Visitors to the open day will need to register to ensure they can gain access on the day. Follow the link for more info:
