Flannery Plant Hire is helping to raise money for BBC Children in Need, with the help of specially branded spotted diggers.

Flannery joined the 'DIY SOS' team this year, using the specially branded machines to help transform a 2½ acre field into a purpose-built ‘adventure camping site’ for the St Michael’s Youth Project. The outdoor sanctuary will allow youngsters from inner city areas to get close to nature and enjoy breaks away from their urban homes.

Patrick Flannery, Flannery Plant Hire managing director, said: “We at Flannery are immensely pleased to support the DIY SOS: The Big Build team for the third year with a range of our machines for the duration of the charity build in Hull. A separate big thank you to JCB, our plant supplier, for supporting this initiative, and to our operators, who are working so hard alongside other volunteers to make the camping site live!”

The spotty diggers are now available for hire, with 100% of the rental charges being donated to the Children in Need charity. Flannery does a fair amount of outreach, so take a look at their initiatives and do your bit for charity below.
