It's been a while since we featured Fairport within the pages of the EHN, but the company has just launched the new FP Series of plate compactors - offering faster travel speed, lower HAVs and deeper compaction.
Among other key features is a cast iron base, ensuring an even finish with no lines - always an advantage - while an optional wheel kit facilitates easy transport around the job site. The new FP series is available in three sizes, and comes with paving and water kits too.
Fairport Director/Designer Ian Morris said, “This single direction plate range has been designed not only to improve performance, but also to increase productivity, which it absolutely does”.
Which was echoed by Fairport Head of Business Development, Steve Watkinson, who added: “The overall efficiency of the FP series is much better; it runs for longer, has lower HAVs, travels well and the end result is not only faster, but smoother. It is, in my opinion the best plate on the market.”
