Golf days are not exactly uncommon within the hire sector, but the very first event organised by Euro Towers was not just great fun, EHN very nearly won...

It all took place at the Overstone Park golf resort in Northamptonshire last Friday, impressively and seamlessly organised by the Euro Towers team. They can't have known quite who they were dealing with, since our very own EHN/EHS Director, Chris Moore (second left), plays to a handicap of just four!

The day kicked off with breakfast before a heady mix of customers, suppliers and, in the case of Chris, outright bandits, headed onto the course. Thankfully, the weather was playing ball, making for some perfect golfing conditions. After the final four-ball came back in, it was time to head to the 19th hole for a well-earned cold drink and a two-course meal.

In the event - and much to Chris' chagrin - he only came second on the day - beaten in terms of overall score by a chap from MKM. He still can't talk about that...

Either way, Euro Towers would like to thank TC Harrison JCB for contributing some fantastic prizes, and to MKM Building Supplies Tool Hire for donating the prize for the overall Stableford winner, an Altrad Belle cement mixer. A very fitting prize for a tool hire company.

Also, a massive thank you to everyone who attended, supported and helped make Euro Towers' inaugural Golf Day such a success. Same great service. Same great products. Now apparently, great golf days too!
